Position Summary
The Admissions Manager (AM) provides strategic leadership to a team of Admissions Advisors, driving the achievement of enrollment targets while ensuring best-in-class student service. The AM will coach, motivate, and develop their team, fostering a high-performance culture that upholds institutional values and compliance standards. Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, the AM will analyze key performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Enrollment Management: Accountable for achieving team enrollment and conversion targets in alignment with institutional goals.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide structured coaching, professional development, and performance management to Admissions Advisors.
- Foster a results-driven and compliant admissions culture.
- Recognize and reward achievements to maintain motivation and engagement.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize reports and analytics to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement process optimizations to enhance recruitment and retention efficiency.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with all ThriveDX policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee daily team operations, including MOD (Manager on Duty) schedules.
- Conduct call monitoring to ensure quality and adherence to best practices in student advisement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Director of Admissions and other senior leaders to align enrollment strategies with institutional objectives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the admissions process and student experience
Education & Experience
- General Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Higher Education admissions or sales management.
- A Bachelor’s degree or a related discipline is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proven track record in managing teams, coaching employees, and leading performance-driven initiatives.
- Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and telephony platforms (Five9 a plus).
- Strong ability to analyze reports and interpret data for strategic decision-making.
- Communication & Leadership:
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and influence teams while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
- Project & Operations Management:
- Experience in budget management, and strategic planning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
