JOB SUMMARY:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help the organization make data-driven decisions. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.
- Use statistical techniques and software tools to analyze data and generate reports.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
- Create technical documentation for SOX compliance.
- Document work instructions for use of developed analytical tools.
- Establish, review, and maintain timelines.
- Communicate status to upper management and internal customers.
- Salary Range: $23.50 - $27.00.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-to-4-year degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in CIS, Database Management / Modeling, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong consideration for candidates with database, data analysis, and reporting software experience
- Knowledge of developmental software languages (Visual Basic, SQL, or others)
- Ability to find solutions to challenging problems
- Experience in process analysis and development a plus
- Deadline oriented and ability to work under stressful situations
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to determine procedures and methods to be used to garner expected results
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing job responsibilities
- Must be able to learn processes quickly, break process down into logical divisions, and recognize opportunity for improvements.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, as well as upper-level management.
- Must be able to build relationships and leverage resources.
