Job Purpose

Great Minds is looking for an analytically minded professional to join our team as an Analyst, Strategy & Analytics working in our Strategy and Analytics team. Our team manages financial, people, and technology processes for the Go-To-Market team, generating and using data to inform strategy and to evaluate performance.  In this role, your primary purpose will be to help implement process changes and provide analytical tools that improve the effectiveness of our Go-To-Market team.

Reports To: Director, Strategy and Analytics

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Support GTM leadership and work with colleagues in IT, Finance, HR, and Product to track down the critical datasets necessary to uncover actionable insights
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their highest priority issues that can be addressed with data, prototypes, discussion, and mock-ups
  • Build expertise on our data systems and data structures across operational systems, financial and accounting systems, customer management systems, and our digital platform applications
  • Aggregate and analyze data across disparate sources using a variety of analytical tools and methods and derive actionable insights
  • Build and refine performance dashboard tools, metrics, and reports
  • Assist team-wide strategic projects that seek to elevate business understanding, improve operational efficiency, and build data infrastructure and reporting capabilities

Job requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1+ years of working in analytics, data science, finance, management consulting or other analytical roles where data-driven analysis and execution were critical for success
  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) required
  • Experience using data to uncover advanced business / customer insights
  • Experience creating compelling presentations that concisely share data and insights in a form suitable for senior leaders to consume
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and balance competing demands; strong time management skills
  • Team player with a commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity

Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in K-12 public education, and an understanding of how data is and can be used to drive change from leadership all the way to the classroom
  • Working knowledge of full data analytics pipeline (e.g., gathering data, ETL, automation, engineering, databases and storage, reshaping/ cleaning/ calculations, analysis, visualization); technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Experience working with data from CRM and ERP systems

The expected base salary range for this position is $61,000 - $70,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.

This position aligns with an Associate Analyst internally at Great Minds.
