At McGraw Hill, we are developing learning solutions that are changing the way education happens! We’re seeking an Assessment Content Project Manager to join our Higher Education team. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere within the United States.
How can you make an impact?
As an Assessment Content Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production of digital assessment content delivered via our award-winning Connect learning platform. These projects have aggressive schedules that require detailed tracking, agility, and problem-solving to deliver on time to market. In this critical role you’ll collaborate internally (with product developers, portfolio, marketing and sales) and externally (with subject matter experts, authors and global partners) to produce interactive and accessible learning assessments that enrich the student experience for all learners.
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
What you’ll be doing:
- Establish a realistic project plan (including scope, schedule, resources, budget, risk, and quality of deliverables) for product execution.
- Collaborate with program manager and product team to implement course and program goals and objectives in the delivery of each product.
- Evaluate sample work during development stage and perform technical review of projects for production compliance, including rights/permissions and accessibility.
- Communicate with stakeholders, maintain integrity of data in all systems and report on project status.
- Ensure products are delivered to market in scope, on time and on budget per the product plan, meeting quality and accessibility requirements.
- Develop documentation and provide training to authors, subject matter experts, and global partners providing continual development of these external resources.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, process improvement and piloting new digital tools for content creation.
You should apply if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree required and 2-3 years of project management experience, including digital content production.
- Proven agility; able to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills including providing training and technical support.
- Demonstrated organizational skills such as time management and attention to detail.
- Adept in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, demonstrating solid decision making and offering creative solutions.
- Strong technical competences and adaptability as role requires use of proprietary digital tools to build content. Proficiency with Smartsheet, Jira, HTML, and AWS Cloud a plus.

The pay range for this position is between $60,000 - $70,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered. Click
