Benefits Coordinator Full Description

As a benefits coordinator, you will work with the benefits and risk manager to assist employees with benefits claim issues and plan changes as needed. You will respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollment, status changes, and other inquiries in the benefits inbox. You will provide administrative support with the open enrollment process and Healthy by Design wellness program, manage the pre-employment testing workflow for new hires, and respond to 60-day survey follow-up inquiries.
Among other duties, you will manage three weeks of medical leave and payment processing for all benefits invoices. You will also use Xtender to upload and pull benefits documents and maintain accurate files for benefits data as requested by the manager.
Minimum Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Two to three years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience  
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
