Position Summary

The Content Manager will report to the Executive Director of Content (EDC) and play a key role in creating and supporting the delivery of high-quality course content, assessments, and facilitation services across all course types. This position is also responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of tasks associated with content development and course support. The Content Manager will also collaborate closely with the Director of Content, the Academic Director Team, and the ACUE Commons Community Manager to deliver content that helps to maintain ACUE’s mission of advancing student success through high-quality instruction.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Director of Content in managing daily content development and operations, ensuring efficient processes and timely delivery of quality course materials.
  • Research, identify, and make initial outreach to experts to support ACUE course content.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Content to develop new course resources and to facilitate the review, updates, and distribution of course content, ensuring alignment with ACUE standards.
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to support the development of content for the ACUE Commons. 
  • Monitor course feedback, making recommendations for content improvements and process enhancements.
  • Under the direction of the Executive Director of Content, make updates to the Canvas course shells in response to course-taker, instructor, and Academic Director feedback.
  • Maintain content databases and version control systems to ensure up-to-date, accurate content for all courses.
  • Provide administrative and project management support to the Executive Director of Content to help drive continuous improvement and innovation in course delivery.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the EDC and course delivery team.

Skills and Experience
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field  
  • 2+ years of experience in education (Higher Education preferred)
  • Strong pedagogical knowledge 
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (Canvas preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work across departments
  • Experience with ACUE courses is preferred

Location:
This position is remote, with occasional travel at 10%

Salary:
Between $75,000 and $87,500 commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
