WHO WE NEED:
Our team is looking for a motivated Curriculum and Instruction Specialist to join our Enablement Team and continually improve the knowledge and skills of our customer facing departments. The ideal candidate will have experience in training or leading learning initiatives and possess strong instruction and instructional design skills, a high level of internal ownership to help drive our learning initiatives forward, and a passion for helping others grow in their own roles.  As a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist, you will work closely with the Manager of Support Enablement and partner with our Award-Winning Technical Support Department to create, facilitate and foster an environment of knowledge sharing and professional development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Deliver both informal and formal learning solutions to internal customers that are engaging and effective, ensuring knowledge retention.
  • Develop curriculum and training materials for both instructor led training and on-demand microlearning resources that close key knowledge gaps.
  • Partner directly with department leadership to create an environment of constructive feedback where you will regularly provide your evaluation on new learners, as well as accepting feedback on how you can improve your courses.
  • Use a data oriented and collaborative approach to assess the needs of learners and craft engaging learning plans that meet or exceed those needs.
  • As an HCSS product expert, assist other departments with product or business need related questions or projects that align with business needs.

PREREQUISITES: 
  • 2+ years of experience as an educator in the public, private or corporate sector; or equivalent
  • Instructional design experience and background preferred
  • Familiarity with The 6 Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning concepts and principles of curriculum development and pedagogy
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
