As a Curriculum Content Developer, you'll author and create innovative and inclusive educational materials and resources for teachers across all KinderCare Learning Center brands. This role is a key member of the Curriculum & Assessment team and works collaboratively within the larger Education team and across other departments to develop high-quality, impactful learning experiences for children birth to 12.

Requirements:
  • Generate innovative ideas and solutions based on industry best practices and field needs.
  • Research, develop, and write high-quality, inclusive early childhood educational resources and materials.
  • Adhere to the department style guide and ensure all content is copyedited, and free of errors.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and represent the Curriculum & Assessment team in corporate initiatives.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and innovative thinking.
  • Report on timelines and results of assigned projects to the Supervisor, Curriculum & Assessment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a directly related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Expertise in early childhood curriculum and curriculum design, with a particular focus in infant and toddler curriculum preferred.
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills with self-editing ability.
  • Ability to complete projects from concept to implementation, with flexibility and responsiveness to timelines.
  • Teaching experience in group care or classroom settings.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to, and understanding of, the varied needs, ages, abilities, and backgrounds of the children and families we serve.
  • Growth mindset with the ability to accept feedback and pursue personal and professional goals.
  • Proactive, taking initiative and ownership of work with a curiosity to learn.
