Overview:
Job Summary:
The Curriculum Development Coach is responsible for supporting the development of curricular materials and resources by writing high quality, rigorous questions and performance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and write exemplar questions that allow students to demonstrate mastery of grade level standards.
- Ensure submitted work meets required specifications.
- Respond quickly and positively to constructive feedback, making all necessary edits to submitted work.
- Provide weekly updates to demonstrate steady progress.
Core Competencies:
- Deep understanding of the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards
- Knowledge of current and evidence-based approaches to curriculum development, instruction, and learning.
- Ease in using technology, such as Clever, Google Workspace for Education, etc.
- Highly organized and capable of maintaining updated, accurate, and confidential records.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate proven track record of student growth and achievement.
- NYS teacher and/or leader certification preferred.
Compensation: $60-100 per hour Physical Requirements:
