Technical Innovation
- Build and implement automated testing frameworks using tools such as:
- End-to-end testing: Playwright, Selenium
- API testing: Bruno, Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI
- Performance testing: JMeter, K6, Gatling, NeoLoad
- Security testing: OWASP ZAP or similar tools
- Develop reusable, scalable testing patterns that standardize delivery across diverse client implementations.
- Design CI/CD pipeline integrations that make continuous & automated testing (CT) a seamless part of the delivery lifecycle.
- Implement efficient test data management solutions tailored for higher education datasets.
Client Success
- Collaborate directly with higher education institutions to understand and meet their specific testing and compliance needs.
- Create tailored testing strategies that ensure smooth, reliable deployments of Ellucian products.

What You Will Bring
Technical Expertise
- Deep expertise in automated testing tools and methodologies, including:
- UI automation (e.g. Playwright, Selenium)
- API testing (e.g. Postman, REST Assured)
- Performance testing (e.g. NeoLoad, JMeter, K6)
- Test management/reporting platforms (SpiraTest)
- Strong programming skills in multiple languages (TypeScript, JavaScript, Python).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Testing Leadership
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 2+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven success in scaling automated testing strategies across large or complex environments.
- Expertise in designing test architecture and frameworks.
- Strong background in agile testing and DevOps practices.
Domain Knowledge
- Experience in enterprise software testing; education technology experience is a plus.
- Understanding of compliance and operational needs for higher education institutions.
- Professional services or consulting experience is highly valued.
