We're seeking a detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team and drive success across our clients' digital campaigns. In this role, you'll manage conversion tracking implementations, conduct regular pixel audits, and optimize search campaigns while working with multiple platforms including Google Ads, GA4, and various tracking tools. The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with strong analytical skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of our digital operations team, you'll ensure tracking accuracy and data integrity across 200+ campaigns while collaborating with account managers and technical teams. You'll handle everything from implementing conversion tracking and troubleshooting technical issues to optimizing search campaigns and supporting client reporting needs. Core Campaign Management & Optimization
- Build and optimize Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Performance Max campaigns using Google Ads Editor, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices
- Execute data-driven optimization strategies across Google Ads search marketing campaigns to maximize performance and ROI
- Monitor campaign pacing and budget allocation across accounts, maintaining spend efficiency while meeting client objectives
- Support Account Teams during new client media plan implementations, ensuring proper campaign setup and tracking deployment
- Manage and prioritize a dynamic queue of client requests for campaign optimization, reporting, and technical troubleshooting
Analytics & Tracking Implementation
- Conduct regular pixel auditing across 200+ campaigns to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity
- Implement and validate conversion tracking codes across multiple campaign types and platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve tracking discrepancies between Google Ads, Google Analytics, and client reporting systems
- Configure custom conversion actions aligned with specific client KPIs and business goals
- Develop and maintain UTM parameter structures and tagging systems for digital campaigns
- Perform tracking analysis for campaigns of varying scales, with focus on data accuracy and performance optimization
Client Support & Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive landing page analyses to optimize conversion performance across client digital campaigns
- Provide technical support for basic GA4 dashboard creation and customization requests
- Assess and implement tracking requirements for new clients using established project management systems
- Support digital operations team with data management requests and reporting needs
- Process and execute tracking implementation requests across multiple platforms, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy
A day in the life
- Regularly checking email and the project management system for urgent tracking issues or campaign alerts.
- Review daily performance metrics across major search campaigns, focusing on any that are off-pace or showing performance issues
- Conduct scheduled pixel audits for 15-20 campaigns (part of the quarterly review process)
- Update tracking documentation for recently completed implementations
- Manage strong multitasking abilities as priorities can shift throughout the day based on client needs and technical issues that arise.
- Attend campaign performance review meetings with Account Teams
- Regularly update the project management system with completed tasks and progress notes
- Monitor Tracking and Search Queue for new tasks or requests that need attention.
- Build campaign structure and ad copy suggestions for Search campaigns.
- Perform routine optimization tasks for search campaigns:
- Review search term reports and add negative keywords
- Adjust bids based on performance data
Role progression
- First Month - Shadow experienced team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of job functions and receive thorough training on relevant platforms and tools. Immerse yourself in the company's business, culture, and get acquainted with the talented professionals you'll be working alongside at Encoura.
- Two Months - Begin taking ownership of less complex tasks and start building campaigns for launch Google Ads. Collaborate closely with Digital Analysts and Technical team members.
- Three to Four Months - Develop confidence in your role, achieving the ability to work independently and handle all aspects of the job seamlessly. Take full ownership of your tasks, managing all functions related to your role.
- Throughout this progression, you'll receive ongoing support, training, and mentorship to ensure your success in mastering the role's responsibilities and delivering exceptional value. About You
- 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing roles
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field
- Demonstrated experience with Google Ads platform and Search Engine Marketing.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving skills, particularly for tracking and technical issues
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
