Establish relationships with Members of Congress, Congressional staff, and federal agencies.
Monitor relevant federal legislation and regulations.
Coordinate requests and outreach to Virginia's congressional delegation.
Advocate for federal research funding opportunities.
Manage relations with an external lobbying firm.
Required: Master’s degree or equivalent, with at least five years of related experience.
Preferred: Expertise in Congressional and federal policies, and bipartisan relationships.
Compensation: $150,000-$180,000, based on experience.
