About the Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious Director of Revenue Enablement who is ready to reimagine their future and act as a change agent within the world’s leading provider of higher education technologies. This is a pivotal role supporting our SaaS
Transformation through Sales Enablement, offering a fantastic opportunity to join our established, high-performing Sales Enablement Team with a vibrant culture and exciting plans ahead.
Where You Will Make an Impact
- Oversee the ongoing creation and maintenance of Sales & Sales Enablement Playbooks, driving continuous improvement.
- Manage the rollout, adoption, and delivery of training for existing and new sales tech best practices.
- Review and refine the sales content strategy, identifying gaps and collaborating with Marketing and sales enablement specialists to develop critical materials.
- Provide leadership in transforming sales onboarding programs to decrease ramp times and ensure alignment with Go-To-Market processes, positioning, and proof points.
- Lead cross-functional training initiatives that impact sales productivity, including cross-sell enablement courses and certification processes for new sellers.
- Audit sales calls and meetings to assess sales acumen and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement certification, testing, and assessment methodologies to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs.
- Establish governance frameworks for structured program execution, ensuring high standards of excellence.
- Drive innovation through a culture of piloting and experimentation, scaling successful initiatives while learning from challenges.
- Develop a regular cadence of sales enablement offerings, including ongoing training, best practice sharing, and updates (e.g., Spotlight30 oversight).
- Partner with Product Marketing to ensure all sellers effectively leverage value-based sales content at every stage of the deal cycle.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to set priorities for enablement initiatives and optimize content, agendas, and logistics for sales events and training programs.
- Work with Sales Operations to establish data-driven evaluation and measurement metrics for enablement programs.
- Provide thought leadership and act as a positive change agent, ensuring transformational success across the sales organization.
- Success will be measured by time to ramp, conversion rate improvements, and training effectiveness (as assessed through survey feedback, knowledge retention, and certification completion).
What You Will Bring
- 10+ years of combined experience in Sales, Sales Enablement, or Sales Learning & Development.
- 5+ years in Sales Enablement within an enterprise software company.
- Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to hire, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong understanding of Value-Based Sales Methodologies and best practices in Go-To-Market strategy.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, training design, and delivery.
- Exceptional presentation skills (both online and in-person).
- Proactive, results-driven, and willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
- Excellent communication skills to navigate a complex organization.
- Strong executive presence and ability to drive adoption and credibility with senior leadership.
- Expertise in Sales Enablement technologies and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Seismic, ZoomInfo, Klue, Slack, SharePoint, Confluence, Conversational Intelligence).
- Experience executing change management initiatives with a measurable impact on business outcomes.
- Strong ability to capture and assess performance metrics & KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end projects to successful completion.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to pivot in response to industry changes.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Resilient, positive, and inquisitive mindset.
- Quota-carrying and selling experience preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
