About the Role
As the Director of Student Experience and Success,  you will own the vision, strategy, roadmap and operations for enhancing student experience for our Fullstack Academy Bootcamps. You will lead the end to end delivery of all courses for our learners and their success post course completion. This is a high visibility role and reports to the Senior Vice President  and will work closely with the leadership of cross-functional teams. 

Expectations from the role, but not limited to, would be:
  • Build a high performing student support and academic team that delivers under pressure
    • Improve key proactive metrics such as, live class attendance, live class interaction quality, etc 
    • Improve key reactive metrics such as interaction CSAT (customer satisfaction score), Net Promoter Score of all courses Tracks and resolves all student issues in a timely manner 
    • Improve student retention and completion rates 
    • Drive learner experience across the entire lifecycle starting from onboarding to course completion to placement 
    • Collaborate with the product, content and technology teams to brainstorm and implement solutions to improve student experience, front line efficiency, and deliver just in time help to learners 
    • Collaborate with enrollment to ensure students are set up for success in the first 2 weeks of attendance 
    • Innovate and implement scalable processes to handhold learners throughout their journey 
    • Maintain student records management 
    • Under direction of leadership create and maintain cohort scheduling and academic calendar 
  • Build and lead a strong Career Success team and processes to ensure student success 
    • Improve and track placement rates and the effectiveness of support tools 
    • Ensure team metrics and goals are aligned to strong outcomes 
    • Collaborate with employers to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions 
    • Stay on top of hiring trends and continuously develop our Career Success curriculum to ensure that students are equipped to land their dream jobs 
    • Oversee execution and effectiveness of virtual recruiting events 
  • Act as the point of contact for regulatory and compliance entities 
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and student needs are met for all Fullstack Academy programs
    • Facilitate ADA accommodations and requirements for students
    • Generate, and maintain licensing and documentation as required
  • Provide updates on health of programs to key University Partners 

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience required
  • Customer experience background preferred
  • Minimum 7+ years of leadership experience within the post secondary education industry, non-traditional programs is a plus
  • Experience in leading student support, academic and career success teams
  • Understanding and experience in working with government and regulatory agencies
  • Strong people management background; should have led a team managers
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to work with cross functional stakeholders to get the work done
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Ability to present to senior leadership
  • Understanding of cost analytics and P&L management
  • Strong skills in Google Suite of products
  • Hubspot and Canvas knowledge is a plus

Compensation: The total on-target earnings (OTE) for this role range from $120,000 to $140,000, depending on the candidate’s relevant experience and skill set as assessed during the interview process.
