Who you are:

  • You have at least 2 years of direct people management experience, specifically overseeing high-velocity fundraising or sales teams.
  • You bring experience in or knowledge of higher education and/or frontline fundraising in the nonprofit sector.
  • You have a proven track record of building and managing successful, long-term client relationships.
  • You are an excellent problem-solver with strong project management skills and the ability to handle objections with professionalism and confidence.
  • You are self-motivated and bring a positive, team-first attitude to everything you do.
  • You have experience with or a strong understanding of Development CRM platforms such as Advance, Blackbaud, Salesforce, or EverTrue’s cloud platform.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee Donor Experience Programs across multiple institutions, ensuring each one delivers measurable results.
  • Coach, train, and develop a team of Donor Experience Officers (DXOs), using KPIs and data insights to guide performance and strategy.
  • Lead regular check-ins with DXOs, client stakeholders, and leadership to align on progress, surface insights, and share best practices.
  • Continuously refine outreach tactics to increase donor conversion rates and deepen engagement.
  • Integrate inside-sales methodologies with relationship-building and stewardship strategies to renew and reactivate donors.
  • Collaborate with other EverTrue Donor Experience Program Managers to share insights, coordinate strategies, and scale what’s working.
  • Act as a strategic partner and advocate, ensuring both internal teams and client stakeholders are aligned around program goals and outcomes.
