Educational Content Editor - Mathematics Full Description

About the role
Join our team as an Educational Content Editor! As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming educational content into captivating lessons for our customers on the EP platform. Working collaboratively, you'll edit, peer check and publish educational resources, ensuring they meet design and quality standards. Your contributions will extend beyond editing as you collaborate within a cross-functional team to enhance platform resources and streamline internal processes. We have 2x open positions as a fixed term 12 month contract with the possibility of extension or moving into a permanent role.
What you will do
  • Edit, peer-check and publish educational content to ensure design standards are met
  • Exemplify best practice in EP Design and Quality standards through the editing and peer-checking of content
  • Manage graphic design requests/briefings and application to the Lessons in collaboration with Contributing Writers, and the Graphic Design team
  • Meet productivity and quality targets in all tasks
  • Support and manage relationships with external writers and editors to ensure project delivery and quality targets are achieved

About you
  • Proven subject matter expertise in Mathematics
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure our instructional design standard is reached
  • An understanding of pedagogy and instructional design needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with  project teams
  • Comfortable with providing training and feedback to content team members as and if required.
  • Willingness to multi-task and switch between different content priorities as required
  • A team player who can collaborate within a cross-functional environment
  • A continuous improvement mindset; always looking for opportunities to improve ways of working 
  • Highly adaptable and agile approach, with the ability to deliver quality results
