Overview
Position Summary:
The primary job function is to assist with developing and converting classroom courses to on-line and blended learning modules. Work with trainers and within the existing network to create electronic interactive courses.
State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:
$81,629 to $146,702 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)
$74,208 to $133,365 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)
$66,788 to $120,029 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)
The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Work effectively with subject matter experts, project managers, quality assurance, and internal customers to create engaging learning content and manage training project design and development
- Application of learning and development methodologies to ensure learner success and meet business goals by creating engaging, effective, and efficient learning interventions, including e-learning and blended training courses, activities, and resources.
- Drive innovation by incorporating new learning media approaches into the company's training solutions
- Build successful relationships with a variety of team members, internal business partners, and customers, and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree, Change Management Resilience. Remains energized and focused in the face of ambiguity, change, or strenuous demands. Analytical thinking: Identifies current or future problems or opportunities, analyzes, synthesizes, and compares information to understand issues. Identifies cause/effect relationships and explores alternative solutions to support sound decision making.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of eLearning and relevant instructional design experience in a corporate environment, or 5 years equivalent experience in a corporate environment.
Experience:
- Minimum: Knowledge of and experience with needs analysis, training design and development, training evaluation, and adult learning principles. Demonstrated application of ADDIE instructional design model and adult learning principles. Proficient knowledge of desktop publishing applications including layout and design, ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred: Demonstrated experience using eLearning software applications such as Captivate, Camtasia, Storyline, and/or other eLearning software
Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum: Experience with technology solutions related to learning including Learning Management Systems and SharePoint.
- Preferred: Strong knowledge and application of Captivate, Camtasia, and Storyline.
