An eLearning Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing online training programs and educational content for organizations. This role involves collaborating with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences. The eLearning Developer uses various tools and technologies, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring software (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), and multimedia elements (video, audio, simulations) to build accessible and user-friendly online courses. The role also requires ensuring that content is aligned with learning objectives, meets accessibility standards, and is continuously updated based on feedback and evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop eLearning courses, modules, and assessments.
- Work with instructional designers to create engaging and interactive content.
- Implement multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and simulations.
- Ensure eLearning content is compatible with various LMS platforms.
- Test and troubleshoot eLearning courses to ensure functionality and quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to update content based on feedback and changes.
- Maintain and update training materials to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
Qualifications:
- Experience with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM compliance.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
