Your Impact
Are you passionate about owning your projects and creating innovative eLearning solutions that make an impact in public safety? If so, this is the opportunity for you. We are developing new solutions that aim to enhance the speed and efficiency of records management, real-time operations, and internal processes. These solutions are intended to ensure the safety of police officers, expedite the justice system, provide real-time information for better incident response, and enable police leaders and communities to make informed decisions based on data. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to dive deep into our products, becoming an expert to craft meaningful, customer-focused training to tackle real-world issues.
What You’ll Do
Location: Hybrid in one of our US based hubs (Atlanta, Boston, Denver, San Francisco, Scottsdale, or Seattle metro areas)
Reports to: Director, Deployment Operations and Administration
- Design and deliver engaging, high-impact eLearning solutions, with a focus on video-based training.
- Proactively update training to align with evolving customer needs and product features.
- Partner with subject matter experts to understand the customer journey and create training that aligns with their real-world needs.
- Be part of the team in the eLearning creation process including discovery, scripting, storyboarding, recording, editing, and publishing content.
- Always look for ways to create content more efficiently without compromising quality.
- Understand customer needs and the value of our products to ensure all training content supports the mission.
- Work with internal partners (Axon Academy, Technical Writing, Product, and Marketing) to ensure eLearning adheres to design themes and best practices, providing a consistent experience for customers.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of eLearning development experience
- A demonstrated enthusiasm for designing modern, engaging, and effective eLearning experiences that captivate learners and deliver meaningful results.
- Proficiency in eLearning video production using tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or similar software.
- Experience creating interactive eLearning in Articulate Storyline and Rise
- Prior experience developing eLearning for software products or technical training is preferred
- Clear, concise, and effective communicator
- Committed to excellence and innovation in training design
- Strong problem-solver with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to partner across teams/functions and hold others accountable to a plan
- Experience working in fast-paced technology-focused environments preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced setting.
- Occasional travel may be required, 2-3 days per quarter
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.

Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 77,400 in the lowest geographic market and USD 123,840 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
