The Executive Director of Health Workforce Solutions, reporting to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Health, is responsible for driving the strategic growth and operational execution of our foreign nurse and physician recruitment business. This role involves developing a comprehensive business plan, creating partnerships with hospitals and healthcare organizations, and leveraging deep expertise in global talent recruitment to meet workforce demands effectively. The Executive Director plays a critical role in addressing healthcare workforce shortages and advancing organizational goals through innovative and sustainable workforce solutions.
Primary/Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for expanding the foreign nurse and physician recruitment business.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with hospitals, healthcare systems, and other organizations to secure long-term collaborations.
- Build a robust pipeline of global recruitment sources to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
- Oversee operational processes for recruitment, ensuring compliance with immigration laws, licensing, and healthcare regulations.
- Implement innovative workforce strategies that address current and future healthcare labor market needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to position the organization as a leader in global healthcare recruitment.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the onboarding and integration experience for recruited talent, ensuring long-term retention.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the Health Workforce Solutions team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in global talent recruitment, particularly within the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling recruitment businesses, with a focus on international talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws, licensing requirements, and compliance for foreign healthcare professionals.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Existing network of international recruitment partners and healthcare organizations.
- Experience with technology-driven recruitment platforms and innovative workforce solutions.

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades, this position is Salary Grade B: $64,000 - $202,600. Actual compensation for this role is determined by several factors including but not limited to job level, candidate's skills, experience, and education, among other factors determined by the business.
