Financial Assistant Full Description

Overview: 
Join our dynamic team serving the Aviation Technology Department, which encompasses programs in flight, aviation mechanics, and drones with faculty and locations throughout the state. As a financial assistant, you will work with the Business Manager and play a vital role in assisting with the financial aspects of the department as well as assisting with policy inquiries. Responsibilities: 
  • P-Card review in ServiceNow
  • TA/TR review in ServiceNow
  • Manage PayPal Zettle account
  • Contact Card Office to add/remove sales items
  • Reconcile PayPal with Banner and submit monthly Transmittal
  • Coordinate annual Aviation Club Silent Auction
  • Complete I-9’s and submit Unified Hiring Forms for new airport employees
  • Reconcile monthly Department Course Fee indexes
  • Scan flight student documents and certificates
  • Fuel Record Data Entry
  • Aircraft Parts Tracking for Price and Brigham City
  • Create and Maintain Student Files
  • Annual equipment Inventory
  • Other duties as assigned that could include:
  • Assist with various Department, Program and Airport events
Support the Price FBO Program:
  • Reconcile AVfuel hub and Process Daily Transmittal
  • Submit Open PO’s for Fuel
  • Update FBO positions on contracts with Statewide
  • Other duties as assigned
 Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of related work experience; or an associate degree/technical training in a related field is required. Two or more years of Excel experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of USU software programs including Service Now, Banner, and Argos.

Advertised Salary: $17-$19 per hour ADA:
The environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments. Indoors, in an office space, event space, or public space are protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Incumbents may nearly continuously sit and often use repetitive hand motion (such as typing).
