A Day in the Life:
- Design style guides and partner level guidelines for media that meet partner brand guidelines and expectations, as well as document media solutions in galleries and portfolios
- Independently manage a pipeline of work requests and own communication with stakeholders like learning designers and faculty
- Design and deliver graphic assets and templates on time and to specifications using tools in Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, AfterEffects
- Ensure that all media produced by ASP follows relevant guidelines (e.g., partner brand guidelines, media guidelines, accessibility standards) and meets quality expectations
- Track our use of stock assets against budget parameters and ensure all assets are appropriately licensed and used in accordance with terms of usage
- Own the organization and archiving of all assets in our SharePoint environment
- As necessary, direct other graphic designers and video production staff to ensure quality and cohesiveness in our work’s look and feel
- Responsible for adherence to processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to support our teams
- Obtain Learning Designer and Faculty Developer approval by presenting final graphics, storyboards, and illustrations, encouraging these stakeholders to provide feedback, and responding to internal commentary and requests
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree (coursework in graphic design preferred)
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in graphic design
- Exceptional interpersonal (written and verbal) communication skills and presentation skills, including experience with partner-facing presentations and relationships
- Expert level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and basic proficiency with video-editing platforms like Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects
- Understanding of accessibility standards
- Experience delegating projects, managing and providing feedback to other graphic designers, freelancers, programmers, video editors, etc.
