Description & Requirements
The Learning Evaluation & Certification Designer/Instructional Designer designs and develops learning validation, credentialing assets, and certification exams for the use, sale, implementation, and support of Infor software products, across Infor Learning’s learning lifecycle, for internal and external learners, including the professional development of Infor employees. This role should combine your passion of instructional design, learning validation outcomes, certification, and evaluation.
The Learning Evaluation & Certification Designer/Instructional Designer works closely with other members of the Certification & Credentialing Programs team and reports to the Director, Certification & Credentialing Programs
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets by developing quality credentialing and certification deliverables including certification exam items, assessment questions, and learning validation solutions.
- Use effective needs analysis and evaluation skills to produce credentialing and certification deliverables.
- Incorporate adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Agile LLAMA, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation, etc.) into effective learning and validation outcomes.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts, Instructors, and other stakeholders to develop materials that support the learning validation goals.
- Author exam questions using provided courseware, user guides, and other documentation.
- Use and maintain skills in relevant exam and assessment authoring and programming tools, project tracking systems, and exam and digital badge delivery platforms.
- Use effective project and time management skills to complete multiple projects by required deadlines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working in instructional design for a software or technology company.
- Communication skills with experience negotiating software agreements and presenting to all levels of an organization.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional and Photoshop/graphic editing application.
- Experience developing learning validation standards and development processes.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing and developing legally defensible certification exams.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Experience working with Jira and developing products using Agile principles.
- AI certification platform experience.
- Experience in the healthcare industry developing learning and/or learning validation.
