Job Description:
12 + Month Contract
Hybrid Dearborn, MI
$40-48/HR
Position Description: The Instructional Designer will design, develop, implement, test, and update engaging and effective learning solutions, including but not limited to eLearning and instructor-led training. This person will collaborate with other Learning & development (L&D) professionals, conduct performance consulting activities with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills Required: -Expertise with course authoring tools (i.e., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Lectora, Vyond, Captivate, and Camtasia)-Firm grasp of adult learning and instructional design principles-Expertise in learning solution development of various modalities (i.e., instructor-led, eLearning)-Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills-Ability to build relationships with internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders-Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously-Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel)-Graphic design and video production-Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and explain them to others-Strong attention to detail-Excellent time-management skills-Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum development, or related field
