Overview:
Working closely with interdepartmental teams, the Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences. They will help analyze learning needs and goals of the organization or staff. They will create instructional materials and products for on-line courses. They will develop multimedia instructional tools and products, including audio, video, virtual simulations and interactive activities. They will work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience's training needs. They will devise modes of assessment such as tests, or quizzes to measure the effectiveness of the course. They will also keep project documentation and course records up to date.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with designated teams to design and structure a highly effective curriculum and learning program to support orientation and education of our care model for all members of our care teams.
- Leverage knowledge of product and processes to create concise instructional documents.
- Develop learning content-in relation to the curriculum covered-across recommended formats that make sense to support engagement and high-impact learning long-term.
- Translate complex and technical information into an intuitive and straightforward format that is easy to digest requiring fewer instructions and an increase in comprehension.
- Assist identified stakeholders through demonstrations, brainstorming sessions, creative problem solving, as well as one-on-one technical assistance as needed to develop relevant content.
- Define and follow course development processes that are evidence based, relevant to the stakeholders, and effective for learning by the target population.
- Lead the efforts in curating relevant lesson plans, guides, curated learning objectives and other key learning renderings necessary to deliver the curriculum.
- Evaluate and update curriculums as needed to ensure content matches learner and business needs, with the goal of translating knowledge to action to ensure system workflows are followed.
- Create and maintain standardized templates for learning guides.
- Provide a high level of customer service to all employees and candidates by responding to customers in a timely manner with accurate information and resolution.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Technical Writing,
Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or other related degrees
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year experience in developing curriculum, e‐learning, training, instructional design, organizational psychology, and/or a learning and development role.
Experience with e-learning software such as Articulate Storyline
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year experience in developing curriculum e‐learning, training, instructional design, organizational psychology, and/or a learning and development role within a healthcare environment
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certified instructional designer
