Responsibilities:
The Instructional Design / Learning Management System (LMS) Analyst designs and delivers mandated and internal online training in order to be compliant with Federal Aviation Regulations and regulatory agencies (including FAA, TSA, DOT) while maintaining training practices consistent with industry standards to provide our guest with the highest level of safety and service. This position is also responsible for the design, development and measurement of learning programs including coding for elearning, pre and post video production. Web broadcast and virtual classroom environment.
- Design, develop and deliver mandated online training programs that are compliant with Federal Aviation Regulations and regulatory agencies, including DOT, FAA, TSA and Spirit company policy while maintaining training practices consistent with industry standards that provide the highest levels of safety and service.
- Courseware Development: Conduct successful needs analysis, design, development, deployment, and measurement of training to qualify Airport members in all required competencies.
- Course Integration: Integrate variety of instructor-led, drill and practice scenario based, briefings, and other training courses into the LMS. Consult with training staff, QA and Subject Matter Experts for best options.
- Producing quality eLearning course material, including course design documents, course outlines, course descriptions, PowerPoint slides, diagrams, interactive exercises, and assessments.
- Expertly design curriculum/courseware and recommend the appropriate form of training delivery including, but not limited to, eLearning, traditional classroom training, and/or interactive/performance training.
- Remain aware of all emerging instructional technologies and make recommendations about when to adopt certain systems to continue to offer the best learning experience possible.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (indicate specific field, if required)

- 3-5 years’ experience (indicate specific field, management, or technical experience)
Specialized Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Industry Standard LMS Platforms is required possessing advanced knowledge of eLearning authoring tools, virtual collaboration tools, and enterprise LMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, etc.) and web conferencing tools such as Go-To-Meeting. Hands on experience using SumTotal and MOODLE is highly desired.
- Knowledge of educational models and theories, including instructional design (ADDIE, SAM/Agile) and adult learning theory.
- Understanding of classroom facilitation, vs. virtual-delivery and content delivery via LMS software is required.
- Ability to edit video content such as trimming and combining elements of videos.
- Advanced to Expert proficiency in Articulate 360 is required in addition to experience in one or more of the following software including: Adobe CC 2015, Adobe Acrobat, Captivate, and on-line video standards.
- Proficiency in but not limited to: HTML, XML, PHP, and JavaScript.
