Your Role on Our Team:
The Professional I (L3) Learning Design role leads design projects for key training initiatives, including leadership development, marketing training, engineering training, and sales training. It is housed in the Shared Services team who is responsible for supporting the training and development function with critical support, including Digital Training, Training Operations, and Learning Design.

Examples of duties and responsibilities:
  • Lead learning design projects that drive execution of high-impact training solutions. Utilize the ADDIE model to support key training programs in leadership development, marketing training, engineering training, and sales training.
  • Partner with T&D leadership to drive design of new training initiatives and solutions
  • Consult and manage relationship with SMEs to inform projects
  • Provide management support within the LMS including creation of learning plans, training materials, and other support as needed
  • Create instructor-led courses, eLearning modules, and/or other self-guided resources for various training programs
  • Accountable for following SOPs for learning design process and standards

Role level requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge & Application: Complete knowledge and full understanding of Learning Design (ADDIE) principles and practices. Assesses unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem solving techniques to identify cause. Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach.

Complexity & Problem Solving:  Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points.

Collaboration & Interaction:  Enhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion. Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
1. Level 3: Five (5) years' experience in relevant work is optimal for success in the role (Instructional Design, Training & Development, Education, or relevant experience)
2. Significant application of content creation software (i.e. Articulate) and/or other eLearning software is required
3. Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, attention to detail and conflict-resolution skills.
4. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite – Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
