📍 Location: Dallas, TX 75240 (Hybrid – 5 days in-office to start, then 3 days in-office/2 remote)

Russell Tobin is supporting a global e-commerce leader in hiring an Instructional Designer III to join their training team. What You’ll Do:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives.
  • Perform needs analysis to determine the best instructional methods (e-learning, classroom, or blended learning).
  • Design and write instructional content, job aids, and reference materials for internal teams.
  • Develop engaging evaluation tools to measure knowledge retention.
  • Build scalable processes and templates for efficient training material development.
  • Maintain and update existing programs to ensure content remains accurate and relevant.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 7+ years of experience in instructional design, technical writing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of instructional theories, adult learning principles, and knowledge management strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and e-learning tools like Captivate or Viewlet Builder.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to work independently, strategize, and create engaging training solutions.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience designing user manuals, assessment tools, and other training assets.
  • Familiarity with HTML, Photoshop, and project management platforms like Asana or HighPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for simplifying complex concepts.
