Responsibilities: 
As an Instructional Designer, you'll create and deliver engaging training programs for our central collections and servicing teams. Your goal is to help team members perform better and meet business objectives. You'll work with different teams, business leaders, and subject matter experts to design, develop, and improve learning materials. Your role is to make sure all training aligns with our business goals and follows adult learning principles. Staying current with new learning trends, you'll recommend the best formats and methods to enhance the learning experience. We're looking for someone who is flexible and can handle multiple projects at once, even when priorities shift. Your ability to prioritize and keep things moving forward is key.
 
What you will be doing:
  • Delivering engaging and effective learning experiences for Attain Finance associates, focusing on compliance, policy requirements, and other essential training within the Centralized Collections and Servicing Department. These experiences may be in person, virtual, or online modules.
  • Collaborating with legal and compliance teams to obtain appropriate approvals, assessing training needs, designing solutions, and setting delivery expectations
  • Enhancing learning solutions by recommending the best formats and methods, ensuring an optimal learning experience based on adult learning principles
  • Working with team members to share best practices in learning and development, ensuring high-quality outcomes for all projects and initiatives
  • Taking ownership of multiple projects, following through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Engaging with content owners to clarify goals and conduct ongoing reviews to ensure compliance deadlines are met
  • Fostering an inclusive learning environment, making all participants feel comfortable and included
  • Managing multiple learning initiatives at the same time
  • Utilizing strong project management and communication skills to effectively handle tasks and convey information
  • Supporting Central QAC and cross-functional teams by identifying issues, diagnosing problems, generating solutions, and analyzing opportunities and risks
  • Applying expertise in ADDIE, SAM, and Agile training development models to create effective training programs

Qualifications:
What you should have:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • Ability to use instructional design tools and technology effectively
  • At least 2 years of experience in Instructional Design
  • At least 2 years of experience with the Articulate 360 suite of learning development products, including Rise and Camtasia
  • Intermediate experience working with graphics tools including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator or similar
  • Intermediate experience with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, or similar) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You Will Stand Out If You Have: 
  • Experience in financial services or collections.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, such as Prosci certification or familiarity with its tenets
  • Proven experience in constructing workflows and writing standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Base Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
 
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.

You will also be eligible to participate in our 401k program, starting on the first of the month following 30 days of employment with a company match.
