Instructional Trainer
Location Requirements: Located in or able to travel to Texas.
Your role on the team:
The Instructional Designer / Trainer will work to support Frontline’s efforts to migrate Texas clients from legacy solutions to our new NextGen SPM Plan Management solution. This individual will be responsible for conducting pre-migration learning sessions along with all training needed after migration completion. They will work with clients to discover how the solution will best support their district, answer questions regarding the new solution, deliver training, and improve LMS / Learning Center e-Learning materials.
You can expect to:
- Train clients, either Trainers or direct End-Users, in Frontline’s NextGen SPM Plan Management platform. This includes IEP, 504, and potentially RTI/MTSS solutions.
- Coordinate with clients to schedule training that aligns with their schedules.
- Work directly with other migration specialists to assist with client questions and scheduling training to align with migration completion.
- Identify and lead initiatives with a goal of reducing incoming Support volume by curating the learning center content and promoting self-service capabilities that allow the District users to independently maximize their software solutions to streamline their back-end operations.
- Collaborate with LX team on knowledge base content curation:
- Prioritize new knowledge base content creation based on support volume trends and self-service needs.
- Meet individually with content developers regularly, to ensure that workloads are managed effectively, and content created meets standards.
- Develop new feature documentation ahead of product rollout to clients.
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring to the role:
- Able to learn new software solutions quickly and develop a deep enough understanding to deliver training on that software to new users.
- Ability to collaborate and develop effective working relationships with other Frontline Education staff or additional stakeholders on difficult issues as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.
- Ability to analyze and identify improvements in service systems.
Qualifications
- Located in or able to travel to Texas.
- 5 + years' experience working in Texas K-12 Special Education.
- 2+ years' experience delivering end user training.
- Previous experience working with Frontline Special Education software such as eSped/v3, SuccessEd, or NextGen SPM Plan Management a plus.
- A track record of business process improvement.
- Previous experience developing adult learning materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
