About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QE Automation Lead with a strong focus on test automation and cutting-edge automation frameworks. This role is ideal for professionals with 8+ years of experience in functional automation processes, frameworks, and tools, with hands-on experience in web automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the QE automation team, implementing advanced test automation strategies, and integrating AI-driven solutions into Quality Engineering processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape automation standards, manage teams, and innovate within a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the QE Automation team, driving the implementation of advanced test automation strategies for Web using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD, or Hybrid frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web applications, ensuring best practices are followed and tools are optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that automation processes are aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automation workflows, ensuring timely and efficient software delivery.
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of automation tests across web applications and related environments, ensuring thorough test coverage.
  • Drive the integration and adoption of AI/ML technologies, including LLMs and RAG, to continuously optimize automation frameworks, enhance test coverage, and improve test efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure effective communication regarding the progress of automation initiatives.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber BDD, and other similar frameworks.
  • Ability to independently understand, configure, and update automation framework components for web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python for test automation scripting.
  • Familiarity with API automation and experience with tools like Postman or Rest Assured is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Gemini, or Claude for automation integration is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methodologies, including the implementation of query handling and algorithms to enhance AI-driven automation processes.
  • Experience evaluating AI products based on domain-specific metrics like context, ethics, bias, and performance to ensure model effectiveness for automation.
  • Proficiency in NLP and text generation using transformers, attention mechanisms, and tokenization.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and ADO for seamless automation and testing workflows.
  • Experience working with cloud-based automation tools like Sauce Labs, Browser Stack, or SeeTest.
  • Test/defect management tools experience, including ALM, JIRA, or similar.
  • Familiarity with core AWS services, including DynamoDB, EC2, S3, VPC, and ELB.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 8-10years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a focus on test automation and web application testing.
  • Extensive experience in functional automation frameworks and related tools.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and automation integration into development workflows.
  • Proven ability to drive the adoption of AI/ML technologies within QE, enhancing automation capabilities and overall testing efficiency.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and agile environment, balancing leadership with hands-on technical expertise.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
