ABOUT THE JOB
The Leadership Development Specialist is pivotal in driving initiatives that enhance the teammate experience and build leadership capacity across the organization. Collaborating closely with Organizational Development leaders, this role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing processes, tools, and programs that foster a positive, inclusive, high-performing workplace. Key areas of responsibility include facilitating professional, team, and leadership development.

This role strongly emphasizes leadership development programming, including identifying skill gaps, designing tailored training initiatives, and equipping managers with the tools and strategies needed for effective team leadership. The Specialist partners with leaders to create and deliver upskilling opportunities that strengthen managerial capabilities, cultivate a pipeline of future leaders, and drive organizational success. The leadership development specialist ensures a cohesive approach to teammate growth, engagement, and overall satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
  • Collaborate with Organizational Development leaders to design and deliver strategic, value-added initiatives that enhance the teammate experience and align with organizational goals.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and programs focused on development, leadership, and team effectiveness.
  • Design and deliver leadership development programs, including assessments, curriculum development, coaching, and ongoing facilitation.
  • Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in leadership development and manager training initiatives, proposing solutions that support long-term organizational success.
  • Create and maintain on-demand content, materials, facilitator guides, and blended learning solutions to support professional and leadership growth.
  • Lead initiatives to upskill managers by delivering targeted training programs, developing toolkits, and providing resources to enhance leadership capabilities and team management.
  • Facilitate team-building workshops and activities to enhance collaboration, communication, and overall team performance.
  • Provide 1:1 professional development coaching, including guidance for emerging leaders and managers to navigate growth opportunities.
  • Support and promote culture initiatives, including recognition programs, to strengthen organizational values and teammate engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior, education, or related field.
  • 5 years experience in learning and development with proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering high-impact learning and leadership development programs.
  • Certified in strengths-based assessment tools and methodologies preferred.
  • Experience leading professional, team, and leadership development.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000/yr
