As a Learning and Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the production, delivery, and distribution of training courses. From designing materials to developing and managing apprenticeship programs, your work will directly support career growth and company success.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Design, develop, and maintain training materials, job aids, and e-learning content across departments
- Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate technical trainings, apprenticeship programs, and on-the-job learning initiatives
- Track training programs, certifications, and compliance requirements; ensure accuracy in training records
- Implementation of Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading courses, reporting, and user support
- Oversee and coordinate the company book club, including selecting reading materials, scheduling and facilitating discussions, promoting participation across teams, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and engagement
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and department leaders to identify training needs and create targeted learning solutions
- Assist in the development and editing of recorded training videos, including scripting, production, and distribution
- Communicate upcoming training opportunities through internal channels (e.g., intranet posts, emails)
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and data
- Ensure training programs align with company goals, compliance standards, and safety protocols
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
- 1-3 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation and technical writing
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging, effective training content for diverse learning styles
- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Experience supporting compliance training or safety-related learning initiatives is a plus
- Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments
- Prior experience with Camtasia is a plus, but not required
