Primary Functions:
  • Enhance Existing Training Programs: Evaluate current training offerings, recommending and implementing improvements to boost engagement, knowledge retention, and alignment with the organization’s evolving needs.
  • Lead the Transformational Leadership Academy: Oversee the CPG Academy, our internal transformational leadership program by designing impactful curricula, facilitating development sessions, and coaching emerging leaders to drive growth and organizational success.
  • New Manager Onboarding: Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding and training program for new managers, ensuring a seamless transition into leadership roles and equipping them with essential skills and tools.
  • Facilitate Insights Discovery: Leverage the Insights Discovery tool to assess personality styles and enhance team communication, collaboration, and overall effectiveness.
  • Provide 1:1 Coaching: Guide individuals in developing job-specific skills and achieving career aspirations through tailored coaching sessions.
  • Develop Learning Content: Create engaging and accessible learning materials, including workshops, e-learning modules, and detailed training manuals.
  • Drive Cultural Alignment: Reinforce the company’s core values through learning initiatives that inspire and strengthen employee engagement.
  • Promote Continuous Learning: Deliver division-specific training opportunities and present learning content at quarterly leadership meetings to ensure ongoing development.
  • Ensure Compliance Training: Monitor and document the completion of all required compliance training programs to maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Measure Impact: Establish KPIs for training initiatives and implement a robust process for tracking participation, measuring outcomes, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Five years of experience designing and implementing learning and development programs
  • Proficiency with Insights Discovery or similar assessment tool
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development
 
Preferred:
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)

Location
While Minneapolis, MN is preferred, this individual can be based out of anywhere within a close proximity to a major national airport.
