Position Summary:
 
Learning Specialist/RN Educator
Location: Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC)
Shift: Full-Time (40 hours)

Position Summary:
The Learning Specialist/RN Educator will provide education to ensure team members are competent and safe in their roles.

Responsibilities include:
  • Education Development: Create and coordinate orientation and training programs.
  • Quality & Safety: Participate in initiatives to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with Corporate Education to assess and maintain clinical competence.
  • Professional Development: Support team member involvement in educational and professional activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure ongoing knowledge of policies and procedures.

Education/Training Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an approved nursing school.

Licensure/Certification:
  • Current RN license in Florida.
  • National specialty certification within two years (if applicable).
  • Required life support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Experience:
  • Minimum of two years of acute care hospital experience.
