Xanterra is seeking a Learning Systems and Insights Specialist to oversee and optimize our Learning Management System (LMS) platform and create and manage detailed reports that provide insights that inform program improvements and decision-making. This role will ensure the seamless operation of our LMS, provide user support, maintain data accuracy, and provide metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in LMS administration, and highly skilled in data reporting and analytics tools.
ResponsibilitiesLMS Administration & Innovation• Responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the LMS.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS-related questions, providing timely technical support to end users.
• Upload, organize, and manage content and resources within the LMS.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the LMS, adhering to industry regulations and organizational policies.
• Help users navigate the LMS, guiding them on how to access courses, complete training, and use other resources effectively.
• Create simple, practical guides and tips for common LMS tasks, and offer one-on-one or group sessions as needed to build user confidence.
• Produce in-depth reports and analytics on learning activities, user engagement, and system performance.
Data-Driven Program Evaluation
• With direction from the Learning and Development Partner, develop and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and identify trends.
• Create detailed reports and visual dashboards to communicate key metrics, progress, and findings to stakeholders.
• Use data analysis tools to provide insights that inform program improvements and decision-making.
• Present data-driven insights to stakeholders, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for enhancement.
Continuous Improvement• Help shape and execute the roadmap for learning technology improvements and innovations.
• Stay current on L&D trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Introduce new tools and methods that enhance the overall learning experience and program effectiveness.
• Support with the design and development of training materials as needed.
• Support with the facilitation of training sessions, both in-person and virtually as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications• 3+ years of experience working in Learning & Development
• 3+ years of LMS experience
• 3+ years of data analytics experience
• Strong understanding of LMS platforms and e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI).
• Excellent communication skills, with an approachable and helpful attitude for working with users of varied tech skills.
• Proven expertise in program measurement and evaluation, including impact measurement, evaluating program effectiveness, and developing new metrics/measures.
• Strong proficiency in data reporting and analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) to track and present key metrics.
• Based in Xanterra’s Greenwood Village corporate office location.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 based on experience.
