The LMS & Content Development Lead plays a key role in the development, organization, and maintenance of training programs and learning resources that support independent financial professionals and their staff. This position collaborates across departments, project teams, and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
Because our learners are independent financial professionals who must prioritize their business first, conventional training approaches may not always apply. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. However, other duties may be assigned.
Training Strategy & Project Support
- Attend cross-functional project meetings to understand upcoming changes and their learning impacts.
- Conduct training needs analysis with business units across the firm to identify and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Complete Learning Intake Forms for new initiatives and ad hoc training requests.
- Provide recommendations to business owners and project teams on the appropriate learning modalities and delivery methods.
Content Development & Oversight
- Partner with SMEs and third-party vendors to guide the creation of learning content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Audit and refresh existing training content for accuracy, alignment with current processes, and branding.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to finalize branding and production of training videos, job aids, and other materials.
- Support the (re)design of instructor-led training materials and update existing learning modules as needed.
- Create and maintain a review cycle process to validate the accuracy and relevance of learning materials.
Program & Resource Management
- Maintain a dynamic training pipeline to track projects, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain self-service learning resources and tools (e.g., knowledge base articles, job aids, cheat sheets).
- Coordinate and support onboarding and organic growth training programs for financial professionals and their staff.
- Act as a Learning Management System (LMS) administrator to publish, track, and manage learning content.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:
- Instructional Design Expertise. Strong knowledge of instructional systems design (ISD) models, adult learning principles, and best practices for creating engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Learning Methodologies. Understanding of adult learning theory and its practical application in both virtual and in-person environments.
- Pragmatic Creativity.
- Collaborative Design. Experience co-designing instructional materials, performance support tools (e.g., job aids), and structured on-the-job training programs with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
- Project & Time Management. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects across departments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Stakeholder Engagement. Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented. Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality and follow-through.
- Adaptability & Ability. Comfortable in fast-paced, ever-changing environments; able to adjust priorities quickly and remain flexible under pressure.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred 2 years of industry experience with a call center and/or operations background.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with the development, delivery, or design of training curriculum and materials.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Series 7 license preferred
