Primary Responsibilities:

Build and maintain scalable and performant machine learning models from analysis to production pipeline.
Ability to perform both new feature development and maintenance on all Civitas machine learning models and pipelines.
Ability to validate new and existing machine learning models to ensure they are operating within acceptable thresholds.
Ability to work across multiple products and engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
Perform ad hoc statistical analysis and machine learning investigation.
Lead other talented engineers in software engineering design and best practices with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

5-10+ years of software engineering, data science, and/or statistical analysis
Experience in designing, debugging, and building modern machine learning algorithms and pipelines

Must have expertise in some of the following:

Statistical analysis
Python/Scala/R
Pytorch/Pandas/TensorFlow/Scikit
Metaflow/MLFlow/Jupyter Notebooks
RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.), being proficient with SQL
Intermediate English reading level

Experience with some of the following is a huge bonus:

AWS
Docker
DuckDB
Redshift
Quicksight
