Machine Learning Engineer Full Description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain scalable and performant machine learning models from analysis to production pipeline.
  • Ability to perform both new feature development and maintenance on all Civitas machine learning models and pipelines.
  • Ability to validate new and existing machine learning models to ensure they are operating within acceptable thresholds.
  • Ability to work across multiple products and engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Perform ad hoc statistical analysis and machine learning investigation.
  • Lead other talented engineers in software engineering design and best practices with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5-10+ years of software engineering, data science, and/or statistical analysis
  • Experience in designing, debugging, and building modern machine learning algorithms and pipelines

Must have expertise in some of the following:
  • Statistical analysis
  • Python/Scala/R
  • Pytorch/Pandas/TensorFlow/Scikit
  • Metaflow/MLFlow/Jupyter Notebooks
  • RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.), being proficient with SQL
  • Intermediate English reading level

Experience with some of the following is a huge bonus:
  • AWS
  • Docker
  • DuckDB
  • Redshift
  • Quicksight
