Meazure Learning is seeking to add a hybrid/remote Manager of Accounting to our Accounting Team!

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Manager of Accounting to oversee our day-to-day accounting. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with over 8 years of work experience in accounting and finance, with experience in software-as-a-service (SaaS) and services business models. Preferably, the candidate has experience with Sage Intacct and NetSuite. Previous experience with ERP implementations (Sage Intacct or NetSuite preferred) and multi-currency organizations is a plus.

The Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day work of the accounting operations and manage all aspects of the accounting close function including, but not limited to, the general ledger, accounts payable, and management reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure timely and accurate financial statements and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
Assist in the treasury and risk management functions, including cash management.
Provide analysis and reporting to senior management, including monthly and quarterly financial reviews, and participate in the developing the long-term vision for the finance and accounting function.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
Participate in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and provide support in the integration of acquired companies into the organization.
Support the tax compliance function including the filing of returns across multiple jurisdictions.

Desired Attributes:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA designation.
Over 8 years of work experience in accounting and finance with evidence of assuming roles of greater complexity, responsibility and accountability during their career.
Experience in software-as-a-service (SaaS) and services business models.
Experience with Intacct or NetSuite ERP.
Experience with multi currencies environment and consolidations.
Treasury and risk management experience.
Experience working in a private equity environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
