About Us:
At Yourway, we are dedicated to transforming the educational experience for K-12 district and school leaders, teachers, and students through innovative SaaS solutions that leverage cutting-edge AI technology as a means to increase impact and improve outcomes. Yourway is the only AI-Powered Education Enhancement Platform that bridges pedagogical vision into practice - empowering educators to enhance learning experiences and engage students more effectively. As we continue to grow our reach and impact, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market and brand building activity along with driving growth through strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the K-12 education landscape and experience in the EdTech SaaS sector. This role requires a blend of creative and analytical skills to effectively drive positioning and messaging, execute lead-generation campaigns, and enhance our online presence across multiple platforms. Our efforts are primarily focused on supporting B2B sales to school district leaders, while also promoting our B2C freemium offering directed at teachers. Importantly, we seek a hands-on leader — a trailblazer who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and actively engaging in the work, in addition to guiding and inspiring the broader marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Positioning and Messaging:
  • Develop brand positioning and messaging initiatives that resonate with K-12 educators and decision-makers, emphasizing our platform's innovative use of AI technology as a means to save time, elevate teaching and drive coherence - to increase impact and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to create compelling value propositions tailored for district leaders while also addressing the needs of school leaders and teachers.

2. Brand-Building:
  • Execute brand development work and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive brand strategy to increase recognition and trust within the EdTech space.

3. Website Design:
  • Oversee the company website evolution along with an outsourced web designer to ensure it is user-friendly and aligned with brand messaging and differentiator positioning; showcasing how our technology enhances educational experiences.
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance organic search visibility and drive
    targeted traffic.

4. Lead-Generation Support:
  • Develop and execute lead-generation strategies for both direct B2B sales to school districts and the B2C freemium initiatives targeting teachers.
  • Design and manage targeted marketing campaigns to attract potential customers and nurture leads through the sales funnel.

5. Digital Marketing:
  • Utilize paid advertising to create and manage effective PPC campaigns, analyzing performance metrics and optimizing as necessary.
  • Implement email newsletter and Social Media Marketing strategies across platforms including Meta, X, and LinkedIn to engage our audience.
  • Develop a blogging strategy that provides valuable content for our target audience, establishing the company as a thought leader in the EdTech space

6. Video Marketing:
  • Create and promote engaging YouTube videos that highlight our products, demonstrate usage, and relay customer success stories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outsourced videographers to produce informative and impactful video content.

7. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies within the EdTech sector.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of K-12 educators and district decision-makers to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
  • Utilize insights gathered from market research to identify opportunities for differentiation and drive continuous improvement in marketing efforts.

8. Hands-On Leadership:
  • Actively participate in the execution of marketing initiatives, rolling up your sleeves to ensure successful implementation.
  • Guide and mentor team members while also being responsible for key tasks, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • K-12 education marketing experience, with a focus on SaaS EdTech products.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies that fully encompass messaging, differentiation positioning, and brand-building strategies.
  • Strong expertise in lead-generation tactics for both B2B sales to school districts and future B2C initiatives targeting teachers.
  • Experience in supporting the management of the marketing budget
  • Proficient in using paid search, social media marketing tools, and analytics platforms to drive campaign performance.
  • Experience in website design and optimization, with a strong understanding of SEO principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce engaging content for blogs and video platforms, with prior experience in video marketing preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to measure success and iterate on strategies.
  • A hands-on approach, demonstrating enthusiasm for tackling projects directly alongside the team.

What We Offer:
  • Salary range is $100k - $130k range depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and other insurance benefits, a 401(k) retirement plan, transit, medical spending and dependent care benefits
  • $100/month technology reimbursement
  • Up to 15 days PTO along with 15+ additional company holidays
  • Join a fun and high-performing team that is passionate about our work

Don't check off every box in the requirements listed above? Please apply anyway! Studies have shown that marginalized communities - such as women, LGBTQ+ and people of color - are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. Yourway is dedicated to building an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible workplace that fosters a sense of belonging - so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to still consider submitting an application.
