WHAT IS THE POSITION
Are you looking for a role where you can create fun and engaging content that makes a positive impact in the lives of educators and students? We are looking for a Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for creating, deploying, and optimizing customer and prospecting email communications. This role will utilize reporting and testing to understand what is resonating with our target audiences and apply that knowledge to their daily work. You will work closely with the product, creative, and digital marketing teams partnering to deliver consistent and impactful messaging and creative across channels.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and optimize email marketing journeys designed to drive customer usage and loyalty, elevating Edmentum as a thought leadership and help drive revenue
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns from content development to layout, testing, deployment, and reporting
- Edit and review email and corresponding content to ensure quality and on-brand voice
- Analyze project results, identify trends, re-prioritize and refine processes as needed to achieve desired results
- Work with internal creative and program teams to develop the assets needed to support demand marketing programs
- Help maintain marketing database, including customer and prospecting segmentation
- Other marketing and sales-related projects, as assigned by marketing management
- Create strong partnerships across sales, marketing, and internal subject matter experts
- Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing, edtech, and education industry trends
WHAT IS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, or similar field
- 2-5 years experience in Marketing
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Experience creating high-impact and compelling email campaigns
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, Marketo a plus
- Experience delivering marketing analytics & reporting
- Experience with product & solutions marketing
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner, escalating questions and issues when appropriate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of HTML syntax
- (Preferred) Background in K-12 education and/or education technology/publishing organizations
- (Preferred) Database management experience
- (Preferred) CRM experience, Salesforce a plus
- (Preferred) ABM experience
- (Preferred) Google analytics and Google data studio experience
- (Preferred) Adobe Design Suite experience

Pay range for this role:
$50,000—$60,000 USD
At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
