Are you ready?
As an Instructional Designer you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and engaging learning solutions in online, video-based, and instructor-led formats to meet the Company’s changing business needs.
In this role you will:
- Partner with internal/external teams, resources, and subject matter experts to conduct needs analyses to identify performance, content, and resource gaps; recommend appropriate strategies to address and improve business outcomes.
- Identify best practice and creative approaches to learning and development; make learning proposals and training recommendations.
- Design, develop, deploy, support, and maintain platforms and content delivering eLearning, blended and instructor-led courses and programs.
- Design and develop learning and performance support materials–process maps, facilitator guides, instructor notes, participant guides, presentations, and quick reference materials.
- Employ a broad range of interactive, creative, and intuitive instructional methods, including but not limited to simulations, Information and Learning Technology (ILT), demonstrations and assessments.
- Facilitate instructor-led workshops including train-the-trainer programs.
- Develop and test prototypes; create resources for distribution and reuse.
What you bring to the table:
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, human behavior, and performance
- Proficiency using rapid e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate to create eLearning courses, including development of prototypes and wireframes
- Proficiency using industry standard creative production tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud to produce overall visual systems and specific audio, video, and image assets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Adept prioritization, project management, facilitation, and implementation skills
- Ability to maximize the effectiveness of learning and development solutions, learning management systems, wikis, and performance support tools
Work Shift and Hours: Part-time, 20-30 hours per week (ideally in office T/TH, but we are flexible with the days).
Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $28.00 per hour depending on experience.
