Are you ready?
As a Learning and Development Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the activities within the Learning function including employee recognition, onboarding, learning, and leadership development.
In this role you will:
- Work with members of the Learning & Development team, assist in the design and development of learning solutions to improve business outcomes; integrate interactive concepts and multiple media into the solution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working both collaboratively and independently to successfully execute on project objectives and related tasks.
- Plan and create learning content independently, using eLearning and video authoring tools and following principles of instructional design.
- Interact and build relationships with internal and external resources, such as key subject matter experts, the field organization, and learning vendors.
- Conduct analysis to evaluate and measure results and impact; continually identify improvements, modifications, and enhancements for improved impact and relevance.
- Facilitate and assist with virtual and in-person instructor-led courses.
- Coordinate and promote learning offerings within Workday’s Learn module and Udemy video library.
- Ensure appropriate communication and change management is in place for all initiatives.
What you bring to the table:
- 3 years' experience: learning and development, talent management, human resources, or related field
- Four-year degree: Human Resources or related field
- Knowledge of adult learning and design principles
- Knowledge of learning design tools and Learning Management Systems
- Knowledge of HR systems (Workday and ServiceNow)
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Work, and Excel), Outlook, and web conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Instructional and presentation design skills
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills including the ability to influence business leaders in developing alternative solutions
- Project management skills
- Ability to consult with managers and employees to identify business focused solutions
- Ability to organize, prioritize, coordinate, implement and manage complex or multiple projects in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment in conjunction with day-to-day activities while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and collaborate with others when necessary
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse background and perspectives
- Ability to research best practices and propose innovative solutions utilizing learning technology
Work Shift and Hours: Part-time, 20-30 hours per week with a hybrid schedule (mostly remote, ability to come into St. Louis once a month).
Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $23.00 per hour depending on experience.
