Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.  | Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in accounts payable and receivables. Experience in full cycle recruiting (posting, recruitment, application process, screening, interviewing, and hiring). Experience with financial modules of an ERP Software System (SAP).
Preferred Qualifications  | Some college education preferred, ideally in the human resources or criminal justice fields. Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to work under minimal supervision; evidence of initiative and proactive approach to solving problems. Experience with Texas State software SAP, Marketplace, Adobe Sign & Teams. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new procedures and to problem-solve independently, excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with systems relevant to the hiring process including but not limited to PeopleAdmin, HireRight, and PCRs.
Job Description  | The Procurement and Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for recruiting and hiring University Police Department law enforcement officers and administrative staff.
Job Duties  | Review purchase orders and invoices. Type and proofread correspondence and forms. Prepare, review, and submit purchase orders and invoices. Process travel arrangements, applications, and reimbursements for all staff. Assist in preparing various activities and events. Manage all aspects of the recruitment process. Support outreach and engagement. Supervise student employees. Tabulate information. Prepare spreadsheets.
