Program Business Development Strategist Full Description

JOB TITLE: Program Business Development Strategist
DEPARTMENT: Programs
REPORTS TO: Executive Vice President, Client Program Services
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
JOB TYPE: Full Time
LOCATION: REMOTE (USA)
COMPENSATION: $90k-$100k/annually 

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Program Business Development Strategist will be responsible for conducting needs assessments with client prospects, developing early-stage activity plans in collaboration with the Program team, and engaging with stakeholders at networking events and conferences. This role also involves following up on digital marketing leads and representing our program services offerings. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage and collaborate with C-suite level stakeholders to drive our mission and objectives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Client Prospect Needs Assessment
• Meet with client prospects to understand and qualify their needs.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify opportunities for our program services.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on the needs assessment to guide prospects through the early stages of the engagement process.

2. Early-Stage Activity Planning
• Collaborate with the broader Program team to develop early-stage activity plans for lead management and opportunity management.
• Create strategies to move program prospects along effectively.
• Ensure alignment between client needs and our program offerings during the initial engagement phases.
3. Key Stakeholder Engagement
• Engage with stakeholders at networking events and industry conferences to represent our company.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations that highlight our company's vision, services, and impact.
• Follow up on digital marketing leads and respond to customer inquiries generated through call-to-action campaigns.

4. Client Services Execution
• Deliver products and documentation to clients, ensuring alignment and maintaining internal reporting.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the client program services team by seeking feedback from clients and stakeholders to drive innovation and enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align programs with overall company strategy.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an educator leader (ex. Principal, Administrator, Superintendent) in program development, educational consulting, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to Executives.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and executing educational programs.
• Leadership experience working with K-12 educational institutions is highly desirable.
• Strong networking skills.
• High level of emotional intelligence and strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies.
• Innovative mindset & ability to adapt to changing conditions.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed; travel 75% 

All Meteor new hires are expected to attend an in-person cultural orientation which requires travel to our home office in Gainesville, FL. Employees may also be required to travel and attend annual company meetings and events. All business-related travel expenses will be paid for by Meteor per our company travel and expense policy.
