Project Administrator Full Description

Position Summary: 

The Project Administrator position will provide administrative support for a wide array of functions for the College. Work with the Executive Vice Dean to administer strategic initiatives and new projects. Participate in the planning, design and implementation of projects and programs. Manage the administrative and operational activities of the Dean's office.  Represent the office of the Executive Vice Dean at new program planning and ongoing meetings and attend College wide events. Serve as a liaison to the administrative leadership of the Dean's Office and senior staff. Administer the College's Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities Advisory Committee. Engage and provide administrative support for several College wide initiatives. 

Qualifications: 

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:

3+ years of related experience in higher education, project management, planning operations or equivalent combination.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years experience in healthcare administration

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical staff.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Experience in balancing competing demands of managing an academic healthcare center. Additional Information: 

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,816.00 to USD $92,664.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
