The Impact you Will Have:
Bringing your QA expertise along with you, you will be acting as a QA representative for an already mature Scrum team increasing the depth, complexity, and frequency of testing activities from validating new development to supporting existing functionality utilizing a combination of manual and automated testing strategies leading to an increase in overall quality and user sentiment.
What You’ll Do:
- Attend cadenced team Sprint Ceremonies
- Advocate for quality throughout the SDLC from planning to implementation
- Script automated test cases using TypeScript /JavaScript(ES6+) with tools like Cypress or Playwright to support regression efforts
- Plan, develop and execute manual and automated test scenarios for new development and existing functionality
- Actively contribute to planning and refinement meetings including pointing of user stories
- Assist with Internal Helpdesk operations and investigations
- Help plan and execute UAT group testing sessions
What You’ll Need:
- 3-5 years of experience as an individual contributor in software quality assurance.
- Hands-on technical experience with proven troubleshooting skills.
- Must be organized and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Exemplary customer service skills delivered through written, verbal, and video conferencing mediums
- Experience using Playwright for automated test case creation and execution.
- Familiarity with Cypress, Gherkin, Cucumber, or any BDD framework a plus.
- Experience with coding web apps in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript ES6/Typescript preferred.
- Proficiency in the use and troubleshooting of web-based applications
- Experience with manual test case design and execution, User Interface testing, Regression, Performance, Load & Stress testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and User Stories acceptance criteria.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
