Sales Instructional Designer I Full Description

 Big thinkers wanted! If you’re an idea generator who loves to collaborate and create, there may be a place for you here at UWM. We’re looking for team members who get pumped up about the thought of generating content to help others succeed. 

And as an Account Executive Content Developer, that’s exactly what you’ll be doing — working closely with the Sales Training Team to develop new course materials to be used in daily presentations and our online Learning Management System (LMS). 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

  • Developing new training courses as needed
  • Developing computer-based training content
  • Attending and auditing trainings
  • Analyzing training metrics to identify opportunities
  • Facilitating trainings as needed
  • Seeking coaching and feedback
  • Consistently going above and beyond to train team members

 WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One+ year(s) of experience designing training content for multiple delivery methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with or managing a LMS
  • Knowledge of ADDIE (or similar) process preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A high sense of urgency with all tasks
  • A creative mind with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn 
  • Onsite, full-time attendance
