Senior Account Executive, Corporates
Reports to: Director of Sales
The Senior Account Executive, Corporates will be responsible for significant contributions to the Macabacus enterprise software sales strategy and will own all sales into the Corporates vertical. Primary responsibilities include both prospecting and acquiring new business, as well as expanding existing enterprise customers for all Corporate prospects and clients. The ideal candidate is an energized, proven sales executor with a clear bias to action, excited by the prospect of being a key player in a hyper-growth organization in the enterprise software space.
The role contributes significantly to our high-performing sales team built on accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
Success in this role is measured by

- Contributing positively to our sales culture through corporate citizenship
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospect to build a robust pipeline and develop relationships with key organizations within all Corporate clients and prospects
- Close new and expansion business at or above your assigned quota
- Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts to sales leadership
- Meet and exceed all assigned goals relating to the new bookings quota and growth targets
- Develop a territory plan that will enable you to identify sales opportunities, close, and grow them
- Collaborate with and share best practices with your other team members
- Establishing executive-level, long-term relationships with customers for future cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Building an expert level of familiarity with product capabilities, customer requirements, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
Skills and competencies needed to succeed
- 5+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales objectives and KPIs
- Mastery of core sales skills (pipeline development, active listening, value matching, negotiation, objection handling)
- Possess executive maturity, presence, and experience in building trust with senior education decision-makers and articulating value propositions
- Experience selling into Corporate FP&A a HUGE plus
- Lead the process of structuring deals and define the negotiation strategies
- Accurate forecasting skills
- Finance background and/or Excel expertise highly beneficial
