This is a hybrid position where you will work onsite at the West Lafayette Indiana campus and occasionally remotely.

What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, physical or life sciences, or related field
- Four (4) years of experience in data analysis, algorithms, and software development; implementing and supporting machine learning or data analytics applications or workflows on large scale research computing system; working with large volumes of data, developing custom analysis methods, and optimizing performance of data-intensive computing applications; and/or using scripting or higher-level languages such as Python in relation to data analytics
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be accepted
Preferred:
Skills Needed:
- Strong knowledge of accelerators including GPUs or APUs, including practical experience in leveraging those hardware
- Demonstrated project management and prioritization skills with the ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks, and complete projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to:
- work positively in an inclusive and diverse environment
- work as part of a high performing team in a collaborative environment
- mentor students
Preferred:
- Excellent communication skills, including experience in submitting papers and delivering presentation
